The Speaking test may either fall on the same day or any day up to a week before or after the test date. For the Speaking test, you can book a slot online on your preferred date and time. If you fail to choose a slot within the stated time period, a time slot will be automatically allocated to you.
- 1.Listening section evaluates your ability to understand spoken English. It includes four recorded conversations and monologues, with 40 questions in total.
- 2.The reading section assesses your reading comprehension skills. It includes three texts with a total of 40 questions. The texts are taken from a variety of sources, such as books, magazines, and newspapers.
- 3.In the writing section, you’ll be required to complete two tasks. Task 1 (150 words) involves summarizing information from a visual source, while Task 2 (250 words) requires you to write an essay in response to a question or statement.
- 4.The speaking test is a face-to-face interview with an examiner. It consists of three parts: an introduction and interview, a short speech, and a discussion.
Preparing thoroughly for each section is essential for achieving your desired band score on the IELTS exam.
