Colleges of Education

Five Colleges of Education for primary school teachers. They offer three-year full-time courses leading to a B.Ed. degree which is the recognised qualification for primary school teaching.

Independent Third Level Colleges

Colleges offering programmes leading to certificates, diplomas, and degrees recognised by Ireland’s national certification authority or an accrediting university.

English Language Requirement

Applicant should score at least 6.0 band in IELTS to get admission into Bachelor’s programme and overall 6.5 not less than 6.0 in any one component for Master’s.
